PROFILE
Began working for Crane Inspection Services, Inc. in 1990, as an assistant and office clerk. I went to my first Crane Inspection/Operation school in 1995. I continued to work as an inspection assistant until my first Annual Crane Inspection in July of 1997. Since then I have maintained my knowledge of cranes and safe operating practices by continued education in Crane Safety and on the job inspections of both shore based cranes and Floating Cranes. I have been an approved OSHA compliance surveyor for Crane Inspection Services, Inc. for 8 years. I have skills in construction and general industry site safety and Cranes of all types. I am also an approved trainer for Crane Inspection Services, Inc. for courses in Overhead Crane Operator Training and Mobile Crane Operator Training. I also have extensive experience in crane accident investigation, re-creation, as well as, expert witness testimony. I am a hands-on professional with extensive managerial experience in the crane safety and training fields, with an emphasis in the business-to-business environment. Recognized for occupational excellence and knowledge. Accustomed to a start-up environment. Known for excelling in industrial auditing, team-building, and development of safety programs throughout the country. Comfortable with travel and relocation.

Presently employed with Crane Inspection Services, Inc. as a crane safety surveyor, with maritime signatory status and crane trainer.
SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
2010 Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers
2010 Received signatory status via the United Staes Department Of Labor, for Shore based Maritime Crane
inspections and load testing. Signatory status is limited to only 118 people and I am currently the youngest
on record.
2009 Elected to the ANSI B30.2 committee for writing industry safety standards for Overhead and Gantry
Cranes (Top Running Bridge, Single or Multiple Girder, Top Running Trolley Hoist
2008 Member of Crane Certifiers Association of America
2001 Became an approved OSHA compliance surveyor. This
certification includes mobile cranes and floating cranes without limitation.
2001 Successfully completed a 30-day Mobile Crane Apprentice II Course Branch I, 339A Program. This
advanced level course was the second portion of the Crane Apprenticeship Training under the
direction of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, within the Province of Ontario, Canada.
The course was given by Operating Engineers Training Institute of Ontario
2001 Successfully completed a 40 hour Electric Overhead Traveling Crane (EOT) – 0106 course. This
advanced level course is conducted under the direction of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and
Universities, within the Province of Ontario, Canada. The course was given by Operating Engineers
Training Institute of Ontario.
2000 Successfully completed Mobile Crane Inspection Course. This course covered
the study of various types of mobile equipment including, but not limited to,
crawler, locomotive, truck, and rough terrain cranes. All applicable standards,
such as OSHA, ANSI, PCSA, and SAE were covered. Proper inspection
procedures and record-keeping requirements were also included in the course.
Field inspections, with hands-on participation by the students, were conducted
under the supervision of Crane Inspection Services, Inc. The course was
conducted by Crane Inspection Services, Inc.
1999 Successfully completed Overhead and Hoist Crane Inspection class. This
course included the study of various types of overhead cranes and hoists, as
well as applicable standards such as OSHA, ANSI, and CMAA. Proper
inspection procedures and record-keeping requirements were taught. The
course included field inspections with hands-on participation by students,
under the supervision of Crane Inspection Services, Inc. The course was
given by Crane Inspection Services, Inc.
1995 Successfully completed mobile crane training and rigging considerations course.
This course covered the study of various types of mobile equipment; crawler,
locomotive, truck, and rough terrain cranes and applicable standards such as
OSHA, ANSI, PCSA, and SAE. Proper machine setup, inspection procedures,
record keeping requirements, proper usage and importance of load charts, and
operator responsibilities/requirements for training were all addressed during
the course of this workshop. Instruction also as to the applicable standards
pertaining to slings and rigging equipment was covered. Particular emphasis
was given to wire ropes, its classifications, construction and the importance of
proper maintenance and documentation. There were field inspections with
hands-on participation from students, under the supervision of a Crane
Inspection & Certification Bureau surveyor. The course was given by Crane
Inspection & Certification Bureau.
